US State Privacy Notice
If you are a US resident, this notice explains the personal information WebDIY collects, your privacy rights under state law, and how to opt out of the sale or sharing of your information.
Overview
This notice supplements our Privacy Policy and applies to residents of US states with comprehensive privacy laws — including California (CCPA/CPRA), Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others. It describes the categories of personal information we collect, how we use and disclose it, and your rights.

We disclose these categories to service providers/sub-processors, and — with your consent — limited identifiers and activity data to advertising and analytics partners. See Sub-processors.
Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. However, our use of advertising and analytics cookies may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” (for cross-context behavioral advertising) under some state laws. You can opt out at any time:
- use the preference center to reject Marketing and Analytics cookies:
- enable Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser — we treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out of sale/sharing where required; or
- email us at compliance@web.diy with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”
We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
Your rights
Subject to your state’s law and applicable exceptions, you have the right to:
- know and access the personal information we have collected about you;
- correct inaccurate personal information;
- delete your personal information;
- obtain a portable copy of your personal information;
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising and profiling; and
- not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
How to exercise your rights
Submit a request through your account settings where available, or by emailing compliance@web.diy. We will verify your identity before responding and will respond within the time your state’s law requires (generally 45 days, extendable). You may use an authorized agent to submit a request with written permission. If we decline your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.
