# Publish apps that have their own API

Released July 23, 2026 · New · Publishing

Apps with a Hono API now publish with it, running on Cloudflare Workers. Apps without one keep publishing as static files.

When your app has its own API, written with Hono, Publish now sends it live with the site, running on Cloudflare Workers. Apps that are only a front end keep publishing as static files.
